Thank you for visiting our website, and thank you for your interest in Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House.

For over 60 years, people like you have discovered that Bellarmine is a place in which you can make yourself whole. For many of us, the pace of our lives ultimately creates a feeling that we are the sum of many parts: family, friends, career, sports leagues – you name it. Those divisions lead to feelings of emptiness and loneliness that impel us to attempt to re-acquaint ourselves with ourselves.

That process of making ourselves whole, of making ourselves "holy," is facilitated here at Bellarmine by the silence which is the hallmark of our retreats. At its simplest level, that silence allows us to hear ourselves. More profoundly, it allows us to hear the Holy Spirit moving through our experience. It is a delight and a joy to discover that even in our divided selves God finds a way to communicate his life and love.

Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House offers a peaceful environment wherein silent retreats and other programs enable persons to experience a deeply satisfying encounter with Christ and His word. In the serene quiet of Bellarmine, persons become aware of inspirations of the Holy Spirit. These gifts of the Spirit, so much needed in our lives today, frequently go unnoticed amid the confusion, upsets and pressures of daily living.
