My life is very full, very complicated and, at times,
very stressful. Taking the time to go on retreat is a gift
to myself, to my family and to the people with whom I work.
It is a gift because I intentionally take the time to step
back, enter the quiet and, through prayer and contemplation,
consider the bigger question. Retreats help improve my relationship
with God and with others, and through these enhanced relationships
I can be of better service each and every day. - Brian

Bellarmine! The word brings a smile to my face. I can see
the beautiful landscape, and I feel an inner peace. For
three carefree days of silent reflection with Out Lord,
while in the midst of my sister retreatants, I know I will
be pampered and
well fed, but most of all, so loved. That's Bellarmine for
me. - Melinda Henson |

I look forward to my annual retreat at Bellarmine as
much as any weekend of the year. The retreat master and
staff along with the beautiful grounds and buildings all
work together to create an ideal atmosphere for truly thoughtful
reflection and self-examination in the context of my Christian
beliefs. It is a respite from the daily demands of work
and family life that allows me to refocus my attention and
energy towards the things that are most important to me.
It has been and continues to be a very positive influence
in my life. - Jim McMahon |
